GULFPORT

Obituary

Byrain Joseph Johnson, was born on July 23, 1976 to the late Willean Wyatt Johnson and George L. Johnson in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was a life long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Byrain departed this life, Sunday, June 6, 2021.

Byrain attended and was a 1995 graduate of Harrison Central High School. After graduation, he gained employment as a mason and enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Perkinston Campus (MGCCC). After his time at MGCCC, Byrain began working for Magee's Masonry where he worked for several years until becoming an independent Mason.

For those who knew Byrain knew that he was very musically inclined. He had an amazing gift of playing the guitar. He would often be found sitting around the house strumming various melodies. Byrain's love for music ultimately led him to pursue a career in music. His dream was to become a musical artist.

Byrain's departure has left an enormous void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but we must remain strong and know that there is no failure in our Creator.
