Mrs. Brillia Ann Hudson of Gulfport passed October 29, 2020, in her hometown Gulfport. She was an active member St. John Baptist Church. She was the Chairperson of the Black History Month Committee, the Editor of the Church Newsletter and she served on the Hospitality Committee.

Mrs. Hudson was a graduate of Thirty-Third Avenue High School where she received her High School Diploma. She attended Mary Holmes Community College. Brillia earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and also a Master's Degree in Special Education at Jackson State University.

She was one of the most generous people around. You often found her in her community giving and caring for those who were in need. She also was able to exemplify her heart of giving through her beloved sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Mrs. Hudson will be sadly missed by her children, James Hudson, Jr., Frederick Hudson, Kenya Hudson, Francis Mitchell, other relatives and friends.
