Ms. Beatrice B. Christmas, 74 of Waveland, Mississippi passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord, Wednesday November 6, 2019.

Ms. Christmas was born June 28, 1945 in Waveland, Mississippi. She was a member of St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. Ms. Christmas is remembered by her family as being a happy woman. Her unique personality was sure to keep you in good spirits when in her presence. She possessed a unique sense of humor. Family members say that Ms. Christmas's dry humor was sure to release joy and laughter in any room that she was found in.

Joy was the essence of who Ms. Christmas was. Her love for her family was unmatched and those who knew her knew that everything that she had to offer was from a place of love and sincerity. It is not often, in this life, that we come in contact with bright, joyful, and pure souls such as Ms. Christmas and though her time on earth with her family has come to an end, the family chooses to remember and embrace the memories, the laughter, and most of all the legacy that Ms. Christmas has left behind.

Ms. Christmas is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Leroy Christmas, both parents, Mr. Charles Wesley Bruns and Mrs. Beatrice Davis Bruns; three brothers, Marshall Harrington ,Arthur Harrington, and Willie Harrington.

She leaves to cherish her joyous memories, two sons, Walter Gates- Killeen, Texas, Dwayne (Jeneen Alexander) Gates- Waveland, Mississippi; five daughters, Salaina Gates- Waveland, Mississippi, Valerie (Ronnie Powell) Christmas- Bay St. Louis, Sharon Acker- Slidell, Louisiana, Glenda Jackson- Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, Tijuana Paige- Slidell, Louisiana, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews relatives and friends.
