James
Feb 7, 1929 — Feb 12, 2020
Pass Christian
Mrs. Audrey Margaret "NuNu" James, 91, of Pass Christian, Mississippi was born Wednesday February 07, 1929, in Pass Christian. She departed this earthly life Wednesday, February 12, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. James was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian. She was a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic church and a well known pillar of her community. The life of Mrs. James was one to be appreciated and admired. At a very young age, she found herself assuming the role as the matriarch of her family. As a teenager, Mrs. James accepted the responsibility of rearing her younger siblings. During this time, she learned the importance of maturity, stewardship and unconditional love. As time a fate would have it, Mrs. James started a family of her own and would pass on these same amazing traits to her children.
Mrs. James was a lady who was loved by many. Her blatant honesty and unconditional love made it so easy to accept her thoughts and opinions, even those things that we didn't want to hear. Many would say that Mrs. James's motherly nature was divinely ordered. Her special attention to detail, her impeccable dressing and eye for all things fashionable were traits that she was known for. Mrs. James believed that everything had it's place and time and so her family chooses this time to celebrate a life well lived and have placed her forever in their hearts.
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted..." Ecc 3:1-2
