Mr. Arnold Lionel Dedeaux, Sr. 58, of DeLisle, Mississippi, departed this life, Monday, July 8, 2019. He was born and reared in DeLisle and returned home in 1996 after spending many years in Yuba City, California. He served 12 years in the United States Air Force and worked for Mississippi Power Company for over 15 years. Mr. Dedeaux was Christened in St. Stephens Catholic Church, DeLisle and attended Word of Faith Christian Center- Gulf Coast where he gave his life to Christ in October of 2018.

Mr. Dedeaux lived what most would call a simple life. He enjoyed fishing, cars grilling, and the Raiders National Football Team. Family was everything to Mr. Dedeaux and nothing brought him joy more than being, "Big Daddy" to his grands. The life of Mr. Dedeaux was captured in these words

" Living simple is learning how to take care of yourself; it is knowing that whatever tomorrow brings you will handle it with grace and humility, and it means that you can live on less and be happy about it."

He is proceeded in death by his father, Mr. Lionel Stanley Dedeaux and one brother, Lloyd Dedeaux.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beautiful wife, Mrs. Alma Rose Dedeaux- DeLisle, Mississippi, his mother, Mrs. Lillian Ann Dedeaux- DeLisle, Mississippi; a son, Mr. Arnold Dedeaux, Jr. (Victoria Martin)- Pass Christian, Mississippi; a daughter, Mrs. LaShanda Harper (Avery)-Fayetteville, North Carolina; four brothers, Mr. Floyd Dedeaux (Gail)- DeLisle, Mississippi, Mr. Eldridge Dedeaux (Vanessa)- Wiggins, Mississippi, Dr. Glenn J. Dedeaux- Gulfport, Mississippi, Mr. Lynn Dedeaux (Tracy)- Diamonhead, Mississippi; two sisters, Mrs. Rhonda O'Neal (James)Killeen, TX, Mrs. Roslyn Gooden (Eric Avery)-DeLisle; six grandchildren, Alexius, Kelton, Kaley, Alyiah, Aniya, Lauryn, Christiana, and a host of family members and friends.
