Mrs. Ardessa Jones Evans, 69 of Wiggins, Mississippi passed November 27th, 2020 in Wiggins. She was a member of Christian Unity Missionary Baptist Church, Laurel, Mississippi and often attended New Zion Baptist Church, Wiggins, Mississippi. She was a retired teacher where she taught in Mississippi public schools for over 30 years. Mrs. Evans loved children and found much joy in watching them learn. After retirement she worked in an after-school program for several years. She always kept her mind busy with intellectual and mind stimulating games which she thoroughly enjoyed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Haskell Jones, Idella Dean Jones; one brother, Lee Haskell and two sisters, Alice Evans, Dorothy Mosley.

Mrs. Evans will be most remembered by her husband of 47 years, Mr. Lacy Evans, Jr.; one son, Vance Elliott (Theresa) Evans; two sisters, Elizabeth Vaughn, Betty Galloway; two grandchildren, Chance, India and many relatives and friends.
