Annie Bell Green was born May 20, 1922 to Will Dunning of Selma, Alabama and Mary Jones of Atmore, Alabama. Annie moved to Gulfport, Mississippi at a young age with her father and her brother, Steve Dunning.

Annie accepted Christ at an early age. She became a member of Rivers of Living Waters Evangelistic Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Billie Ray Jackson, later in life. Annie was a sweet, caring, and loving daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved each and everyone she met. "Mamma Green", as she was affectionately known, did not have to know you, she would simply help anyone in need. She was, indeed, a mother to everyone in the neighborhood.

Mamma Green worked in housekeeping for several years. In her free time, she enjoyed walking and picking up cans. She took great pride in caring for her grandchildren. Anyone that knew her, knew that she was a strong woman. She was indeed our LEGEND and will be sorely missed.

Mamma Green is preceded in death by her parent, Mr. Will Dunnings and Ms. Mary Jones.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter, Shirley Fairley; her brother, Steve Dunning; six grandchildren, Pamela Harris, Marcus Green, Annie Green, Tomeka Green, Junior Green, Cleveland Green; 26 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
