Anna R. Nibbs, 50, of Gulfport, Mississippi was born July 3, 1970, to Mr. Alfonso Nibbs and Mrs. Emma Fairley Nibbs in Gulfport, Mississippi. Anna departed this life Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

Anna was a graduate of Gulfport High School. After graduating, she enrolled in Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC), obtaining two Associate Degrees. Anna worked several years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was reared in the Baptist faith and lived her life in the likeness thereof.

Anna was such a beautiful soul. Her love and zest for life was an inspiration to everyone she met. Anna enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family and friends. Her bright smile and energetic personality lit up any room. Her friends and loved ones remember her for her colorful spirit. We are saddened by her departure, but our faith and hope lie in the truth that to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso Nibbs and Emma Fairley Nibbs; and a brother, Troy Nibbs.

She is survived by her loving son, Troie Rawls; two brothers, Anthony Nibbs, Luciano Nibbs; two sisters, Antoinette Nibbs, Anita Nibbs; a grandmother, Vera Fairley; two special friends, Jeff (Bajda) Norman and Ann Bradley; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
