Ann Odell Soto Muse was born on November 25, 1940, in Opelika, Alabama to Raymond Paul and Myrtis Greenlea Soto. She was reared in Pensacola, Florida and graduated from St. Joseph's High School. Ann cherished her family and loved helping people. As an El Paso switchboard operator at Mountain Bell Telephone Company in the early 70s, she loved connecting people to community resources. She returned to her hometown of Pensacola and gave her life to The Lord Jesus Christ in her late 40s.  She began a new chapter in life when she met her God-given husband, the late Bennie R. Muse. She obtained her bachelor's in social work at the University of West Florida, pursuing her lifelong dream of helping those in need in the community as a social worker. After her husband's passing, she moved back to Texas, enjoying family and the Dallas community.

Ann was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Stella Hogan and younger sister, Arlene (Robert) Clark.

She leaves two beloved children to cherish her memory, Deborah (Danny) Land of Grand Prairie, Texas and Kenneth Irby of Pensacola, Florida.  She is survived by her dear youngest sister, Paulette (Robert) Cunningham, and baby brother John (Joyce) Soto.

She was delighted to be blessed with 3 grandchildren by birth (Jeremy, Tiffany, and Shawn) and 2 by grace (Adrienne and Danielle), as well as 5 precious great-grandchildren and a host of adored nieces and nephews.

She was known for her great cooking, perseverance, great love of family and others, and amazement with God's creation. She will be greatly missed by many who deeply loved her.
