Amos was born November 24,1987, to Amos Mack Newman Sr. and Diane Newman in Gulfport Mississippi.

Junior, as he was affectionately called by his family, was a very charming person. He enjoyed cooking as well as playing the bass guitar.

Amos loved and cherished those he considered family. He will be remembered for his love of good music, the gift of making a good meal and the heart for making a friend of anyone.

He is survived by his loving parents, Amos Mack Newman Sr., and Diane Newman; children, Tristan Thomas Newman, and Makayla Newman; brothers, Terrance (Corrine) Newman and Adrian Newman; sister, Portia (Stephen) Merritt and a host of other family and friends.
