Tate-Thorn
Jun 30, 1981 — Apr 25, 2021
Gulfport
Almaudia Helena Thorn, 39, was born June 30, 1981, in Milwaukee, WI. She departed this life, Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Almaudia was a resident of the Mississippi Coast for over 30 years. Se was reared in the baptist faith and was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church. Almaudia was a graduate of Harrison Central High School and later attended Jackson State University. After her time at Jackson State, Almaudia enrolled at Blue Cliff College, receiving her certification in Cosmetology.
Almaudia was a beautiful soul. Her kindness and pleasant spirit drew people to her, instantly. She was such a visionary and always saw the beauty in people. She had a way of bringing out the best in things. Almaudia enjoyed drawing and designing clothes. When she wasn't drawing or designing clothes, she could be found painting and designing nails. Almaudia was such a fun-loving person and those who knew her loved her dearly. Though our present time with Almaudia has to come to an unexpected end, we rejoice and consider ourselves blessed to have shared time and space with such an amazing person.
She leaves to cherish her life and memories to her spouse, Mr. Travis Thorn; her parents, Mr. William W. Tate, Sr. and Mrs. Shiela Smith Tate- both of Gulfport, MS; a brother, William (Latisha) Tate, Jr.- San Antonio, TX; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
