Aaron M. Burks, 72 of Gulfport, MS, passed awy n June 25, 2023 at the VA Hospital in Biloxi, MS.
Born November 24, 1950, he was the eldest son of the late Warren L. Burks, Sr. and Bertha L.
Fortenberry- Burks. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War until he was honorably discharged.

Husband of Hellen Burks, they shared 52 years of marriage. To this union, they welcomed eight children. He also loved spending time with his family, fast cars, music and was a member of several bands as a drummer.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Bertha Burks, and his siblings, Betty Sumrall, Larry Burks, Sr., Barbara Burks-Lewis and Linda Burks.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Hellen Burks; eight children, Queen (Luther) Woullard, DeRon (Alicia) Burks, Chicarllis (Jasmine) Burks, Sunny (Floyd) Hubbard, Charnette Burks, Aarien Burks, Salete Burks, and Brandon (Tricia) Burks; 23 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
